No more “in the pink”
Hi there “in the pink” readers. This post is to let you know I won’t be posting on this blog any longer – and more importantly there won’t be any more Stamping and Scrapbooking nights at the MId-Mountains community centre for the time being.
However, the good news is I am continuing to expand my Kaszazz business – you can find out more at my website www.leoniescraftcorner.com and my brand new blog www.craftyleonie.wordpress.com – please don’t hesitate to contact me with your stamping and scrapbooking questions.

July 4th!
Everything is ready to go to the Mid-Mountains Community centre for the scrapbooking and stamping night tonight. Don’t be put off by the rain if you were planning on coming along.
I’ll be demonstrating three techniques that you can apply to scrapbooking or cardmaking. There’ll be rollagraph, magic chalk and embossing demonstrations. After that I’ll demonstrate two-step stamping and you will have the chance to make your own two-step stamp project.
Don’t forget that by coming along you’ll be supporting the pink ribbon fund – and there is also a lucky door prize valued at $50!

Friday 6th June
The first Scrapbooking and Stamping Fun was held last night at the Mid Mountains Community Centre. We were are small group (there’s plenty of room for lots more people next month) – but that didn’t stop the group from making some lovely cards.
If you’d like to know more about what to bring and what you’ll be doing at a Scrapbooking and Stamping Fun night – don’t hesitate to call 4758 8000 and ask for Leonie, email leoniemay@optusnet.com.au or leave a comment on this blog. If you’re a beginner you can order starter kits for stamping or scrapbooking from me before the end of June so you’ll have them ready for Friday the 4th July. If you’re already an enthusiast bring your things along – and be ready to try out some new techniques – and you can borrow my stamps as well to use in your scrapbooking or cardmaking.

Getting ready for Friday night.
Are you planning to come along to the Scrapbooking and Stamping Fun night at the Mid-Mountains Comminuty Centre Hall (Behind Lawson Shops) on Friday 6th June? Entry cost is $10 – $1 of which goes to the Pink Ribbon Appeal and tea, coffee and biscuits are included. There is a lucky door prize to the value of $50.
There will be two competions running – one for scrapbook layouts and one for card making. To enter you need to buy a kit (there are limited numbers of both types) and make a $1 donation to the pink ribbon appeal. Prizes for the competitions are $25 each.
What do you need to bring? Well apart from yourself – any scrapbooking and stamping materials you have as well as photos if you’re planning on scrapbooking. Some “Kaszazz” products will be for sale – so if you’re a beginner I suggest you come along early and get an entry kit for the card making competition they are only $2.25 (including the donation). I’ll have some of my stamps and stamp pads there for you to borrow too. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced bring along your tools (I advise you to put your name on them first) and be ready to be inspired by what others are creating.
And one last thing – bring along your own coffee mug – I’ll have polystyrene cups but lets try not to use them?
See you there!
